Has anybody read ‘Looking for Alaska’ by John Green?
I really want to read it after my last exam on tuesday (thank god) and I’m wondering whether it is any good or not?
I’ve read a few little quotes and the one about rain and the hurricane sounded so beautiful. ♥
If anyone has get back to me! :D
I read it. I thought it was okay.
Cristina, this is why we’re friends.
I was way too excited when I read this.
And it’s not because of the gift card!

Ellie! You have to liveblog your trip for meee. lol
Cristina!! You would be up at this ungodly hour. I think I might make a separate tumblr for the trip and live blog along the way so I can remember all the stuff I do. I’ll do text posts and pictures I take; at least one picture a day (I hope).
At how well I’ve taken care of myself during this finals week.
I mean I still had a panic attack last friday, but that was at the fault of wicked energy drinks (which I will NEVER drink again).
Other than that, it’s been good.
I’m actually making time to eat (not just craving foods but actual good for me foods), telling myself not to stress out and taking one thing at a time, and getting an ok amount of sleep despite it being finals.
I think I’m growing up.
Hee hee, I know you love me.
One last thing. One last paper. ONE MORE. Last one. Should get it done.
AND THEN I HAVE TO STUDY.
But that’s all.
One last jump.
ONE LAST ONE.
COME ON ME! YOU CAN DO THIS!
“It’s my fox hat.”
“Your fox hat?”
“Yeah, Pudge. My fox hat.”
“Why are you wearing your fox hat?” I asked.
“Because no one can catch the motherfucking fox.” —

I am often asked how I came to write this particular exchange in Looking for Alaska. So here’s the story:
In high school, my friend Masa wore a fox hat as an emblem of protection whenever he was violating school rules, and when I asked him why he did this, he said, “Because no one can catch the motherfucking fox.”
So…yeah. that’s why.
